  • Ultimate Compound Question

I had the chance to use Ultimate Compound this weekend and had a question about the look of the stuff. I've read about it not being really thick so that was no surprise. I was surprised by what looked like chunky bits when I put it on the pad. Think baby puke. Is this normal? I did give the bottle a good long shake before using.

By the way, it worked great. I was working on a silver 1981 MB 380SL with a 10 year old repaint. Finished with M-80 to a great shine. The owner was very pleased.

I've never seen a chunky material when using it.

Sounds like a bit of it may have dried, or been starting to?

This has happened to me but not with UC, but with Endurance low gloss Tire gel.

The chunky things comes when you let the product sit for a long period of time under heat ( or the sun), it dries in the cap and makes the product come in chunky pieces.
