I did that m8 and made a mess.

I waxed the whole car and then started up buffing.
When buffing up it was smearing.

Could i be using too much??

        Hey Dave,

I normally apply a light amount to the MF Towel and then a light mist to the paint. If you use too much, it may streak or smear. I would reduce the amount. The other factor is the humidity. Sometimes if the humidity is really high, you may have a few issues as well.

Give it a try again, with less product. Also use 2 separate MF towels, one for applying and another for removing.

        Keep us posted!

        Cheers!

          Hi David,

Here's another write-up I just recently wrote on applying a spray on wax. I time-stamped it, and addressed cold temperatures and humidity as well, you might find it helpful.

And here's the same article Tim referenced in the How To Forum, only this one is in the Detailing 101 Forum and includes three extra pages of other peoples questions and comments. (The one in the How To Forum is closed to new replies, thus no comments)

            Mike,
Would this even coat pad be an alternative to the sponge wax/polish applicator too?

                Thanks.

Do u apply the wax in straight lines or what ever way u like??

How long do u leave it on for??
10-15 mins on the link u sent.

I apply it on with a appliction pad and take it off with a MF cloth.

                Thanks

                    Pretty much.

Till it looks like it has dried to a haze. In warm weather this only takes a few minutes, as I documented in this link

Applying NXT Spray Wax with Meguiar's NEW Even Coat Applicator & Removing it with Meguiar's NEW Supreme Shine Microfiber

It took 10-15 minutes as it was cold outside.

I apply it on with a application pad and take it off with a MF cloth.

                    Thanks

It must be me cos i cannot get used to this product. (lol)

I keep trying but getting an even coat is not easy.

It does make it a very just waxed look.
