2 coats are recommended when using Meguiars waxes and sealants, do they both have to be the same product or can the first be NXT2.0 and the second be GC+?

Re: 2 coats recommended
The idea behind the two coats thing is because a properly applied coat is a very thin coat, and especially on lighter colored cars it can be easy to miss a little something. If you want to use two different waxes for the process, go for it.Michael Stoops

Re: 2 coats recommended
Two coats make a lot of sense. I know with interior house paint I've always gotten noticeably better results with two coats. I've been waxing my car every three months. I'm willing to put in a little more effort for a better look. Would I do better to apply two coats every two months or one coat every month. I think I would do better to apply one coat say on the first Saturday every month. I could alternate between NXT and GC. So I would always have a fresh coat and I think the frequency would fill any gaps.
