  • Scratch X

I've been using Scartch X for for a few years now for small blemishes. I ran out of the original and now have the Scratch X 2.0. It leaves a haze of very fine scratches and ends up worse then what I started out with.

Is there another product similar to the original Scratch X? I need something that I can use by hand at car shows.

SwirlX is probably closer, or the new rubbing compounds in the cans.

I agree with Murr's suggestion of SwirlX.

What type of applicator were you using when you applied the ScratchX 2.0?

Also, I've seen the original ScratchX still available at Target.

            A supreme shine microfiber towel.

If you have any of the Meguiar's foam applicator pads, give it another shot with one of them.

Yeah, I probably would not want to apply with a towel.

But it is also a much stronger product than the original ScratchX, so might not be right for you paint.

I already ordered Swirl X so it should arrive any day now.

My targa top was just recalled and will be replaced so I will have to experiment a bit on it.
