  • Help!!! What removes

    NXT?

I found time to do full swirl removal tomorrow.

    Will clay do it?

    Hey,

Clay will remove the bonded contaminents and some of the NXT. However, if you are planning on using products like #9 Swirl Remover, or #83 DACP etc., products like these will remove the NXT from the surface.

If you want that extra pop, (and you have the time for an extra pass), try using #81 after the 83 and before the NXT wax.

I use #7 Show Car Glaze and it makes the cars glow. My Jag is a deep metallic midnight blue that always looked black until I used 83 & 7 on it. Now the blue flake just dazzles.

Even Wifey was amazed to learn it's not black.

#7 on my red '97 Mustang makes it look like it's on fire.

#81 is supposed to be very similar to 7 yet easier to take off. I believe the 81 is preferred for Base/Clear coated cars.

        Anyway, just a suggestion...

Yup, any cleaner/polish should take it off. Just go to town with #83!

Didn't I just see pictures of that Viper at the accessories demo? I sure didn't see any swirls on it. If you had a few minor swirls you probably would have been just as well off using #80. Plus it would have taken less time. I am sure it still looks great as usual, but you could have saved some time.
