I'm pretty sure it is. QID isn't a very strong cleaner.

However, it's not a substitute for sometimes using a leather treatment too.

However, I'd get that soda wiped up ASAP.

I'd wipe the stain with a MF and a 20:1 water/woolite solution. After it's been cleaned up and dried, then finish off with QID.

I tried this and compared to the old QID. I like the old one better...the sprayer was better than the new one. I also like that the older version mentioned UV protection. It was the best product...dusted, matte finish, and UV protection. The new product focuses more on cleaning than protection, and to me seems to have to be followed with a dressing like natural shine. That's 2 steps whereas with the old formula, that's all I used. Now I have to buy 2 products and spend more time on the interior.

QID has always been a touch up product, like a QD for paint, and does not provide enough protection(Old and New formula) as a dedicated protectant like natural shine would. QID is not supposed to be used by itself but in conjunction with a true protectant.

My take is if you take the new QID and put it in the old bottle/sprayer you would love it the new one. I sure like the older sprayer bottles. I reused one for ONR and it works nice.

I use QID or 1z CP for interior wipe downs and then use a protectant (use several brands) every 3 months or so.

For most people, the plastic used for the surface is going to determine if one will have issues more than any product used as a protectant. When you see the vinyl cladding on various cars/trucks that has lightened fairly quickly (like lower sections that see almost no sun) then no protectant is going to prevent that.

Just tried QID today after reading these reviews. The spray nozzle worked fine for me. There are two settings in addition to off. It doesn't leave much of a sheen if at all, so it's difficult to see the improvement over what was a clean interior to start with. My only negative comment is that is left my leather seats feeling slightly sticky...emphasis on slightly. Maybe I didn't rub it off enough. I'll see how if feels tomorrow morning after setting overnight. Walmart had it for $4.97.

I just picked up a bottle and I LOVE IT! The smell is great and some of my customers love the no shine look. I just wish I could buy it by the gallon like the detailers line!
