Gold Class Rich Leather Lotion/Gel/Spray

I noticed there were three kinds of this product. One in a bottle (lotion), one in a bottle with a pump (NEW, gel), and the other in trigger spray. Now, I am assumming the only difference are the consistency. Which is the best of certain application?

For example, I put a thread earlier this month relating to what product to use on my leather sofa. I am leaning toward the lotion version.

Havent tried the gel, but I would think it will be related to the lotion. I like the lotion for a bit more cleaning ability, and seems to condition nicely as well.

I dont like the sprays as much for actual cleaning/conditioning, but they are ok for a bit of a touch-up.

Actually, there are 4 variations - you forgot the wipes!

The following was taken from Leather lotion, spray, or wipes? (more discussion on the topic there as well).....

The lotion is sort of the standard version of the product, so to speak. Most people will reach for this version.

The spray is great for use on perforated leather since it's easier to control the amount of product being applied so as to avoid plugging the perforations with product, which can happen with the lotion.

The wipes are a convenience item - quick and readily available when needed. Some people prefer this format since all they have to do is pull out a wipe, apply to the surface and throw it away.

Our new Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner Gel is a great alternative to the lotion, with a huge benefit being that it won't dry white so you can easily apply it to perforated leather, or along stitching, without fear of a white residue being left behind.

Is it ok to use a cleaner/conditioner on leather that is absolutely clean, to just get the conditioning benefits? Or should you only use a conditioner in such a case?

Yes, the cleaner/conditioner is solid for regular use. Even if you used APC before hand.

The cleaning ability in any of these products is quite mild so with regular use you won't be overdoing anything. In fact, with regular use these products will prevent the accumulation of dirt, and routine maintenance is always easier than corrective work.

This is good to hear. Sometimes I worry about applying a cleaner regularly. Something about my mentality just thinks it could contribute to changing the material, if done too often. Still, they stay so clean and car not used much, so I don't use it more than once every 6 weeks or so.

So, will the NEW Gold Class Leather Cleaner/Conditioner GEL (pump) replace the lotion version (the one in a regular bottle)?
