  • Tech Protect on Paintwork?

    Hi all,

Found the forum whilst looking for the answer to a bit of an embarassing problem - I've applied a good layer of Tech Protect to the entire front-end of my car before realising it wasn't the Speed Detailer I had in my hand!

It's since had two very good washes, a thorough rinse and a top up of my usual polish and sealant. Do I have anything to worry about?

    Thanks,

    Ed.

P.S. You wouldn't believe the beading from the tech protect. Quite a nice wet gloss look too!

Well, your car may explode shortly, but you'll live.

hahahaha. its all good. we all mistakes sometimes. id just get a little APC at 10:1 and spray it on to the front bumper and let it sit for a minute or two and then rinse to get the protecant off

If you do that, re-wax the area.

Felt like it had; was the finishing touch to a 4 hour stretch!

Just give it a good cleaning with the apc. Re=wax the area and you should be good to go.
