I bought a lot of Smooth Surface Clay Kits when they were on sale. (Don't ask me how much I pad for each kit because you will only hurt your head as you jump in shock!!!
.)
I bought so many kits that I throw each clay away after one use on one car
Now I find myself having a lot of bottles of Quik Detailers that I do not need. I am using Last Touch 1:1 as a lube and I mainly use UQD if I EVER detail my car using some form of Detailer.
Now I am stuck with a lot of Quik Detailers that I rarely use. I was thinking of using them as a pad primer, in lieu of Final Insepction. I understand that Meguiar's recommends the use of Final Inspection as a pad primer because of its bodyshop-safe properties. However, at home, where a bodyshop-safe formula is not required, can I use Quik Detailer to prime my pads?
Instead of including a small sample of cleaner wax with the clay bar kit, I would have preferred Meguiar's to include another MF towel or a sample bottle of car soap, any kind would do.
