Deep Crystal vs. others

Using now DC3 (after DC1&2).. Comparing to GC or NXT 2 as a LSP Would I get any benefits, like durability, shine etc. ?

I am new in this forum, and living in hard scandinavic weather (my car).. btw great forum you have!

It is really up to you and what looks best in your eyes. NXT 2.0 will last longer and looks better in my opinion but you may find that DC3 works best for you.

The best option is to try a couple different waxes and see which one you like best.

I think NXT 2.0 is better than DC3 in both departments. Not that DC3 is a poor product, but I believe NXT 2.0 is probably the best LSP Meguiars currently makes.

Is DC3 comparable to some pro-line products, like hi-tech yellow wax? (was it #26?)

My car color is metallic silver and it´s hard to get that wet-look preserving deep-clear silver "crome" -look...

Well you could always put on NXT 2.0 as your base coat and then top it with DC3 or M26. It's up to you. Every car has its own combination that really makes the paint pop. You just have to find out what it is for your car. Here are a couple of pictures of silver cars that I've done.

This Lincoln Town Car which belongs to my neighbor has Radiance Polymer Sealant on it (which I can only buy from a local distributor, since they're the ones who make it). Just giving you an idea of what it looks like. I imagine NXT 2.0 would give a comparable appearance.


This Honda Accord belongs to my parents. It has ColorX, M07, and Gold Class Liquid Wax on it. Notice how it looks very crisp and clean.

yup... trying out different waxes is fun.. and once you got the perfect one and only wax that suits your eyes.. STICK TO IT!! and dont waste more money on other waxes, cuz you will never stop buying different/new products of wax because of the curiousity...(personal experience) hehehe... but trying out NXT 2.0, GC, DC3 is definately worth it

If you look up some of Tim Lingor's work, you'll see the finished product of NXT 2.0 on a silver car, which is about the best I've seen.

I haven't tried any other waxes except for nxt 2.0 and I love it so far. Here it is on my civic...

Thanks for the compliment. Haha yes the car in the reflection is my step dads race car. It has taken quite a beating out there on the track lol.

Remember when quoting that you need both the opening quote tag and the ending quote tag or the quote won't look right. (We fixed Post #9 and added the ending quote)

Also, when inserting images, hit the ENTER key a few times after each image and this will force the next picture under the previous pictures. (We edited post 10# and hit the ENTER key after each image to force the pictures to position one under the other)

I use the combo M07 and NXT 2.0 with great results!!
