Hi Tech Applicator Pad and 2 pack Soft foam pad ~ difference?

I buy these Hi Tech Applicator Pads at the Bass Pro Shops all the time since I have a hard time finding these locally anywhere else. It looks like it has the old Gold Class labeling too



I use these yellow pads for paint cleaning and polishing and use the ones that come in the NXT box for waxing. But was the product above discontinued to release this:




Is there really any difference bewtween the two?

i saw a pack of 2 of the NXT version (purple coloured) applicator pads... any difference on that??

The blue ones feel a lot softer than the yellow ones, definitly made out of different material.

yea it feels abit thicker than the yellow ones, does that means it should only be used for applying waxes?

They are all the same type of foam pads. The only difference between the purple NXT applicator pad and the yellow applicator pads is the color.
