  • NXT wash?

How foamy is the NXT wash supposed to be. Mine wasn't that foamy. I used about 2 capfulls in a 10 quart bucket. But it was pretty hard to measure, man that stuff is thick.

It seemed to wash fine though, very slick and it looks good now.

I use NXT Tech Wash all the time and find it to be a very high sudsing car wash. The dilution is 1 ounce per gallon, and I think 1 ounce measures out to be approximately 3 cupfuls taking into consideration that some of the cap stays coated with the concentrated car wash solution.

I know measuring is a pain, but it insures proper product performance. If you use too little, you don't see the suds and reduce the lubricity of the wash solution and decrease the effectiveness of the cleaning ability and if you use too much you may end up with streaks if you don't completely rinse off all of the car wash.

It sounds like you might need to add a little more.

Cool, thanks thats probably where I went wrong. I figured a capfull was an ounce. So I really should have used about 6.

Good thing I tossed a little more in there for good measure.

Does this wash have any water softeners in it?

I have very hard water and am currently using #62.

I use NXT Generation Car Wash all the time and find it to have lots of suds. I love this product!

You will have to check with Mike about the "water softeners" but as far as I understand, water gets softened by first going through a filter to remove certain minerals, I'm not sure how a car wash soap could do this.
