I say Natural Shine is underrated. I tried this on a friend's dash after he used an APC to clean it. He really did a number on it, but after I applied Natural Shine, it was as good as new again without the greasy shine.

It wasent shiny and greasy when it was new, so it shouldnt be shiny and greasy now. I agree with you 100%, QID is a great product.

Thing is, from my experience if you *only* use QID over and over. The finish will look duller than when the car was new. Every now and again using a not too shiny protectant brings it back to original look.

However, I use QID for the regular dusting.

Maybe it depends on the interior because with my IS it brings it right back to that "just like new look". Certainly no duller than new, but that is just my experience, of course.

As for underrated products... it is hard for me to comment because I tend to shy away from products that I *perceive* as not being as good as others. One such product is ColorX.

I would probably say it is most underrated IMO although I've never used it so I can't say for certain. I haven't bought it because I *assumed* it was inferior to products like M80, M83, M205, D151, so I've neglected it, but reading now, most people think it is great. So my *guess* is that ColorX is most underrated.

One product I was very disappointed in (probably more so than anything in the Meg's lineup) was NXT Extreme Shine Tire Spray. I loved it at first but it seems to wear away so quickly and go to a matte finish it is just not for me. I go for the Endurance High Gloss Shine (which I love).

Quick Interior Detail Spray is underrated in my book. Too many people seem to think that a slick/shiny/greasy dash means it's a nice clean one. Whenever I use some QID, people are like "where's the shine?" They don't realize that's the beauty of a truly clean dash - but to each their own.

I've got to say Hot Rims Mag & Polish Cleaner. I've only used the paste on a few things, but it really works wonders and it seems like NXT all metal is always stealing its thunder. Good thread.

another underrated product is #39 and #40 tag team, brings Vinyl back to life.
i also think NXT Insane Shine Tire Coating in the trigger form dosent get much attention either

I really like the Quick Interior Detailer. To me that's probably another product that's underrated besides the ones already mentioned.

I agree, the Quick Interior Detailer is the only product I use on my car's interior. I even use it to clean my LCD TV when my dog decides to lick the puppies that come up on Animal Planet.

Gold Class Trim Detailer - inexpensive dressing that will stack up against products costing almost 10 times as much. Awesome stuff.

I agree here... Prior to ASD I used it all the time very good product but you would hardly know it existed.

Agree with Murr on the cleaner waxes, especially ColorX. Also think Gold Class Trim Detailer is way underrated.

what i dont like about trim detailer is that its watter soluted.. when it rains, its washed away.. i think #40 is much better.

I would say another is the Gold Class Protectant wipes, i just tried them today after realizing i got them for Christmas and hadnt tried them yet, they actually leave a nice uniform appearance and it saved me some time instead of spraying on a Hi tech applicator pad, with the wipes you can just glide over the surface and it does the trick

I would say (mho) that Xpress wax is way underrated. I use it a few days after waxing with NXT 2.0 and watch the shine come out. I can't believe what a difference it makes. It is really fantastic on white cars.
