Hi Guys I purchased the NXT spray wax as well but I just have one concern. I will be topping my 2 coats of nxt with #16 and then everytime I have to wash my vehicle every week I plan to use the spray wax after washing. Will this be a problem since I'm assuming #16 will still be on top and therefore the spray wax wont do much because it is also polymer based and it wont adhere to the topped #16.

Mike you kinda made me scared with your comment. I already purchased the spray wax and have not purchased #16 yet. Should I then return the spray wax? And just keep the #16.
BTW I did a search on how to apply the #16 properly. I plan to do this by hand and only have a foam applicator and ultimate wipe but I dont have any quick detailer which everyone suggests to use with the #16. Any other advice?

I'd use the spray booster for a month or two until the weather turns colder then top the NXT with #16. This should give optimum protection through the winter months.
I love NXT and the spray booster after every other wash, when the weather is warm enough to permit.Jim

When the weather turns colder, I just plan to top my NXT with another coat of NXT. It's a heck of a lot easier to apply than #16 and it's supposed to be Meguiar's most durable product.
Back to the original question. I'd not mess with Spray Wax over #16. I think that using a poly product over canauba is questionable. Just use a QD.
Better yet just use the NXT and the Spray Booster. I getting great results with this combination on my black Hemi.
