So what would u guys suggest as a good cleaner? I already have scratchX but I'm not about to scratchX the whole car, my arm will fall off :-)
Have a DA? How about some A12 cleaner wax, or M66, or ColorX via DA and a polishing pad. Any of those will clean it well and leave protection behind as well.

You pretty much got the 411 in the above posts...

Ultimate Compound is a dedicated rubbing compound in the same idea of what car guys used in the old days except ours uses our brand new SMA technology or SMAT for short and unlike traditional rubbing compounds that just scour the paint our product removes defects and in some cases will polish out and in some cases you'll need to follow it with a less aggressive product.

SMAT = Super Micro Abrasive Technology

The big picture is that there's been a real strong need in the market for an aggressive compound that's clear coat safe and to be honest there just hasn't been anything like this since clear coats started getting sprayed at the OEM level in around 1980

So the introduction of this new product is a huge change for the positive in the car detailing hobby.

    1. It is a cleaner only, and would be mostly for "repair". It is not something you should need to use often.

    2. SwirlX will be the milder cleaner. Then ScratchX in the middle.

    3. No, ScratchX will be stronger. ScratchX is also a cleaner only, while ColorX is a cleaner/wax.

Is the UC considered a cleaner/wax or is it to be used for repair purposes only?

Also another quick question. What's the difference between swirlX & scratchX?

And finally, does ColorX have stronger "cutting" than scratchX?
This will be fun hearing from the experts, but I can tell you that UC is NOT a cleaner wax. It is an abrasive polish, designed to remove scratches and swirls by removing paint and thus prepare the surface for waxing. Though I have no direct experience with either product, I suspect it is more akin to M105 than any other polish sold by Meguiars.
