Is NXT car wash too strong?

I'm using NXT car wash now. Today I've just put on a carnauba wax on the car. I wonder which car wash is mild enough not to take away too much wax? From the labels, I see that NXT seems strong maybe because it's been designed to work with the Tech Wax 2.0 Hence one my my friend highly recommended me to change to Gold Class......

1) Gold Class car wash
2) Soft Gel car wash
3) NXT car wash

Can anyone help about this matter?

Car washes are all very mild, they offer very low clean ability and a lot of lubricity.
It won't remove the entire coat of wax, but in the other hand just by touching the surface you are removing that sacrificial barrier.

And....

If you use more than the recommended amount, that will make it stronger.

Whichever car wash you decide, use the recommended amount (I believe it's 1oz to 1 gallon of water), I use a cheapo plastic measuring cup so I don't get yelled at using the nice glass one from the house

Nappers, do you have a ballpark idea of how many capfulls of NXT wash per ounce?

1 cap usually equals 1oz. The tough part is the fact that so much stays stuck in the cap. Hence a plastic measure cup or clear plastic cup marked with the correct amount for the bucket you are using.

to know exactly how much car wash you need, take a clear laundry measuring cup (after you mom is done with it LOL) pour 4 or 5 ounces of water into it (or how much you need) and then you'll know each time where to fill it up with car wash. there are usually measuring lines on the cup that will say 1 2 3 and that will indicate where to fill it up to...

The best way to measure is with some type of cup/measuring cup or similar - After I purchased a measuring cup I found the cap to be very inaccurate.

I have been using the pumps from ADS.. they were one ounce per pump.

Though I just got a new style one from ADS, not sure if it measures the same yet.

I like to use a measuring cup. You can buy a cheapo at Wal-Mart and then you are all set. It will pay off in the long run.

Well worth it - at around $1-$2 for the cup and your set.

Our chemists did some measuring and taking into account that some car wash concentrate will stick to the cap, 2-3 capfuls is one ounce and you use one ounce of car wash per gallon.
