  • Are NXT Generation products safe on a new car?

    Hi all,

I just got a blue 2009 Honda Accord EX-L Coupe. I am thinking on purchasing NXT Generation products to maintain my car's interior and exterior. Are NXT products safe for a new car or do you recommend something else. I am planning on purchasing everything from NXT Car Wash, Wax, Detailer etc.

    Thanks

Absolutely safe, but you'll find the Nxt products dont cover every type of product. There is no NXT clay, cleaner, polish, that sort of thing.

You might like to read these over, so you get a fee lfor the full process, and see if you want to add some other products:

Thank you for your response and great links. I am planing on using Smooth Surface Clay Kit and other products as an NXT replacement. Is it OK to mix different Meguiar's products?

The answer to our questions is "Yes"

We've been in business since 1901 making quality product and we wouldn't go to market with car care products that weren't safe for cars.

Check out the links Matt posted, you'll find lots of helpful information. Best thing to do is to get your car on a regular car maintenance schedule just like you do with oil changes and keyword here, maintain the appearance of your car both inside and out. Don't look for or be fooled by products that claim to last for a year or 5 years for the paint or anything.

Find quality products for the surface you're treating and stick with them over time and you're car will always look new.

Yes, all of the lines can be mixed.

If you get nuts like us, you'll likely end up with some Consumer Line (Gold Class, Nxt, Deep Crystal), Professional, and Detailer Line products on your shelves. Maybe even Motorcycle or Marine Lines as well.
