  • Waxing On Top of UQD

    Hey guys,

The last time I washed the car, I applied UQD on the vehicle and it looked really great! This was 2 weeks ago. But I feel that the car needed some wax as I have not waxed it in a month or two. I waxed the car today with NXT 2.0. The surfaces I applied UQD, I can feel that the paint was extremely slick compared to the panels I didn't apply UQD before. Now my question... Did I waste my time waxing the car since the UQD is there? Or would have the NXT 2.0 removed the UQD and be able to stick to the paint?

    Thanks guys!

NXT 2.0 has some cleaning ability to it, so yes, it will have removed some of the UQD and bonded to the paint. UQD will probably make those panels slicker because of the hydrophobic technology.

      Ryan,

Yup, the UQD made the panels slicker and I can tell when I was applying the wax...

I just hope that I was able to remove all of the UQD so the wax can bond properly... Looks wet though!
