  • More deep crystal cleaner or scratchx for water spots

I have a black 2005 Nissan Titan that has major water spots from a broken neighbors sprinkler. I first attempted to use vinegar to remove the mineral deposits and it made it look a little better but I still had the spot rings so now I am assuming stage 2 type water spots. I purchased the Deep Crystal 3 stage system, and started using the cleaner. The cleaner did remove most of the spots and the paint looks beautiful from a distance but up close I still see the remaining spots(deeper into the paint?). Should continue to hit the spots with the Deep Crystal cleaner or should I try something like scratchX?

Apparently the Deep Crystal cleaner is non-abrasive, how does the Deep Crystal remove remove swirls and minor scratches without some type of abrasive?

I am happy with what the cleaner has done so far but am trying to figure out how to continue. Thanks for any help.

Yes, these etchings must be deeper into the paint, thus to completely remove them you need to remove more paint.

What it means to remove a scratch out of anything...

If a little rubbing with DCPC is working a little, then more rubbing will remove more paint and thus continue to remove the defects.

It would be faster to switch to M105 as it is much, much faster. The below is about removing a bird dropping etching but the same principals apply when removing any below surface defects.

It's non-abrasive in that in and by itself it won't scratch paint, it does contain both diminishing abrasives and chemical cleaners.

M105 is amazing by hand to remove below surface defects. No other word accurately describes how well this product works.
