  • NXT...wow (pics)

    My Gallery (the NXT pics)

Just finished using the NXT. All I can say is everyone needs to go buy this stuff!!
I washed the car, clay bar, and NXT with cheapy buffer. Keep in mind I did #7 Glaze and Gold Class a few weeks ago.
I can't wait to try this stuff w/ a Porter Cable (buying one soon).

My only complaint is that the reflection is so good, now you see all the imperfections easier (door dings, etc.).

That looks great! Sometimes I wish my truck was that small, much easier to wax!

      Go with the PC!

Thanks guys. It is nice having a smaller car to clean. I can usually put on wax and remove it in about 30 minutes. I let the NXT sit on there for about 1.5 hours....got distracted by a movie. :p
I hoping to buy the PC 7336SP in the next week or so.

          You mean this Wow! picture?

That looks really good mhapner, nice reflection-shot off the deck lid.

I buffed out two Miata's last year for a Miata event at a local body shop/detail shop here in Irvine. (By the way, it's taking place again here).

Here's a link to the red one,
          http://www.showcargarage.com/forum/s...=&threadid=223.

Here's a link to the black one,
          http://www.showcargarage.com/forum/s...=&threadid=224.

When you use the PC on your Miata, be careful around the edge of the deck lid closest to the back of the seats. This is a sharp edge and the paint will be very thin. Also, be careful if you buff the side mirrors. The edge closest to the mirror is also very sharp and the paint is thin.

            Mike:
Thanks for the tips. They will help a bunch. That NXT is amazing. I've never have clarity and depth like that. And I was shocked on how easy the product came off. Unfortunatly it rained here today...I was going to put a second coat on tonight. I guess my two coat trial will have to wait til the weekend. The water beads nicely though.
Good job on those other Miatas....the black one looks great outside.
I have a friend with a Lexus GS400 (black)...I can't wait to work on his car. He's going to love the NXT on his car.

Nice reflection shot of the deck lid Keo!

It's sometimes hard to get this kind of reflectivity off silver.

Thanks Mike. It was a chamber of commerce day here on Mad Beach. I have a question. Can I apply the Spray Wax immediately after buffing the Tech Wax. This was my first application of the Tech Wax but I want to use both of them next weekend.

Excellent results on both cars. I was especially interested in the SLK. My new GTO looks to be about the same color. What did you do to prep the paint for NXT? I'm used to working on a black WS6.

That SLK looks like it came out of the showroom floor. Did you do any swirl removal or anything first? The paint quality looks pretty good on the GTO but probably not quite like the paint on a Mercedes!

                          Robert's reply:
I clayed the SLK first, then I used a polish sealant, then I topped it with NXT generation.

                          WOW!
