deep crystal soap question

I've noticed since I switched to using Deep Crystal Car Wash (in the big pink bottle) that my windows have a waxy type of film on them. I even tried using window cleaner to remove the waxy residue but that didn't work.

Does the DC soap have something in it to be causing this film? I've never had this happen before.

I've used that car wash for years and never had that problem. Have you put something else on your windows are used any type of spray wax on your car? If not, it may just be that you are using too much soap.

I washed my wife's car last night and used the proper ratio according to the bottle and it didn't have the filming effect. I guess I was using too much soap.

But now I don't like the soap as much because of suds issues and it doesn't feel that slick. I think I might try the NXT soap next.

The problem you described sound exactly like over use of product. Meguiar's offers quite a few different car washes, my personal preference is for the NXT Car Wash, give it a try at the proper dilution level, I think you'll like it.
