  • Quetion about Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner

    Hello

I just got my Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner, reading the instructions i see it says "use with a 100% cotton....", my question is, can i spread it and wipe with a microfiber towel??

Also, how should the All Metal Polysh NXT look? Mine just arrived and its nearly solid, not paste. I'm going to leave it in a warm room to see if it becomes a paste, any tip for this?

Yes you can use this with a Microfiber Towel, or a MF applicator pad as well if you like

Yes as yalerd posted you can use a microfiber and the NXT all metal polish has always looked rather solid to me, i don't think its supposed to look liquidy at all.

looks about the same as mine. Just rub it with your finger, does it liquefy onto your finger or does it crumble?

I used a piece of a soft scrubbing pad, I found that cloth absorbed too much of the cleaner and it didn't work as well. Check out this thread:

I have a Gold Class Conditioner related question. Is it possible to over condition your leather? I just got an 05 Envoy and the leather is in decent shape but, it seems to have never been conditioned (leather on drivers seat is a little loose, worn out, creased and has kind of hard not soft feel). I have conditioned all the seats maybe 5 times in the last 2 months with a terry cloth. Should I hold back a little? How often should I make applications? Once a month? Twice a year? Thanks.

Frankly, I don't like the Rich Leather Cleaner as it will make my seat oily and when you sit on it, it will produce some squeaky sound and there is no natural leather smell.

However, I am using the Carplan Leather cleaner and conditioner, it will enrich the leather yet it is not oily as when it dries up, it return to the normal leather surface. There is a strong leather smell too.

Help Guys & Gals! Bought my wife a 300 Limited. I was a god. She got something on the back seat so I used Meguiars Leather cleaner. Apparently, I did not wipe it off soon enough so it is shiny. She is not happy.
Any ideas on how to remove the shiny appearance?

Go back and wipe it with a clean, dry cloth. Should remove the shine.
