Re: Professional and consumer products
Look for a PBE (paint, body & equipment) store in your area - these are the places body shops go to for supplies. Many will carry a decent selection from the pro line. But for your best selection either order from meguiars.com or autodetailingsolutions.comMichael Stoops

Re: Professional and consumer products
Hi:
If you are going to order some detailer products call the customer service people at Meguiar's and see if the free shipping on phone orders of $75.00 or more is still available.
The products ship from TN so you will get it pretty quick.

ADS sells the detailer line in different sizes which I like. That way, you can try a product without having to buy a whole gallon. They even sell pro line products in smaller containers. You ca't go wrong with either place. Both have great service and selection.

Re: Professional and consumer products
I'm a consume line guy myself, but doesn't NAPA have the products availalbe for ordering? I thought I remember seeing this once somewhere, but I would imagine megs.com and ADS would have better prices. Hope this helps trigger someone's memory."Difficult takes a day, impossible takes a week." Jay-Z

Re: Professional and consumer products
I've gotten all my pro stuff straight from the mothership and a few odds and ends from ADS. But I was surprised to see pro stuff like #26, #7, #6, #2, and a few more at NAPA with reg prices, notwithstanding, if you're a AAA member, you show them your card and get 7% discount. Not too shabby.

Re: Professional and consumer products
I have ordered from both Meguiars and ads. I like them both. But as mentioned before, ADS lets you buy in smaller quantities before popping for the whole gallon. That is a very nice feature in my opinion when you are just starting out. Then if you like the product get the whole gallon. It beats buying the gallon and then if you do not like it your stuck. (not that it would happen lol).
It all comes out the same in the long run when you figure the shipping and handling. So in summation either place you can't go wrong.quality creates its own demand

Re: Professional and consumer products
I like ADS, but I just found out my oreily's auto parts can get anything I want in the Mirror Glaze line. All the prices are very similar to ADS (when including shipping into the equation.) Also, a good majority of the stuff can be had within a days time (ask for it before lunch, they will have it in by four.) Although when asking for the detailer line, they look at you with a blank stare, go figure.
