How much NXT do I use ?

I just tried out NXT last weekend, and I must say, I like it so far. I am wondering if I'm using the correct amount. I thought I read somewhere that a little bit goes a long way, but I might be confused with a different product. So far I was using maybe a 1/4" drops on that foam pad, and spreading it around maybe a 2 sq-ft section. It looks like it's a really thin layer, but I'm really not sure I'm putting enough on. At least with these thin layers, it dries quick, and comes off really easily...

Hi Ray...Welcome to MOL!

When I use a hand applicator, I like to start with a drop about the size of a nickle or a quarter, but it depends on your own preference.

I would at least put enough on the pad to keep it moist.

I don't think that there's a set amount per square foot but, speaking from experience, the 'less is more' rule applies to NXT.

In short, apply a very thin and even coat across the entirety of your paint. When you feel that the foam pad is starting to 'hang' or 'grab', it's time to apply a little more NXT to your pad.
