Guys, I am new here but not new to Mequiars products and I could use your help. I am about to tackle our 2000 Black Infiniti QX4 again. The paint needed help last time and here is what I did. Wash, clay bar, started with 82 and was not satisfied, went to 83 and felt the same, next tried 1 and then worked my way back with 83,82,81,7, and finished with 26. After wearing out myself and a cheap rotary the QX4 looked much better but I still felt that I could have done better. Preparing for this go around I have purchased some quality Micro Fibers towels and am buying a Porter Cable. Should I get more aggressive with the type of wax? Am I doing to much? Can someone give me advice about the pads and how they should be used? I have already learned quite a bit from this forum and appreciate and useful advice, Thank you.
