    M105 for rotary only?

    Is there a m105 for rotary only?

    I picked up a bottle to use with my DA but the back of the bottle says for rotary use only. Please clarify. I hope this hasn't been answered before . Thanks for the help.

    Sounds like you may have grabbed an older bottle.

    It is still ok for use with the DA, but wont be quite as friendly (dusting, drying out, etc) as the newer Rotary/DA version.

    Ult. Compound would be a little milder, but even more friendly.

      I just got my first bottle of DA friendly M105 yesterday. I can't wait to try it. I thought the rotary only worked good with a DA other than drying out a bit too fast. It worked great by hand for small spots.

        You can experiment with misting the surface with a little water (I don't think this is an officially recommended technique, FYI) and it may extend your working time a little bit.
