  • Microfiber DA System to the Rescue!

I had taken my car to the dealership for a small transmission problem, and it was repaired. However, in the process, they caused numerous damage, and one was to the hood with many scratches and they even tried to wet sand and buff the areas but stopped and decided to make me aware of the problem. Their Paint/body repair vendor gave them and me an estimate of about $1,100 dollars to restore the hood to look how it did before, but I decided to take the money and try the restoration myslef. I used the DA 2 step system, and finishd it off with a carnauba topping. The car is BLACK, so you can imagine all the swirl marks and imperfections I saw before trying to do things myself. Well.... I took 4.5 hours and the car looks 99.9 like it did before the mess, and the rest of the body is looking better than new! I used a Porter Cable and the 5 inch system pads, and I am honestly BLOWN AWAY with the results !!! I am NOT a detailing professional, but the result of the application certainly looks like it was professionally done. All the minute swirls on the body and even other minor scratches are GONE.... GONE! that's Awesome! Hooray for MAGUIRE'S DA Microfiber System. It was better than a after-the-fact Paint job, and I still have a factory finish....

    I am a BELIEVER !!!

Now with all the extra money you got I could just see a whole bunch of products in your garage. I also think that Microfiber System is the best thing since " the slice of bread"

since you got the hood looking better than it did before take back to them and let them know it only took 4.5 hours and less then
$100 to correct it and ask if they will pay you the difference of what their body guy quoted and what it actually cost. lol

Well.... I'm getting a check for the WHOLE amount of the estimate, and not even having the hood painted. Painting a panel with black metallic is not my happiest dream coz the "match" is just about impossible with black metallic paints.

I'll use the grand $$ for shipping the car to the west coast next winter...
LOL.... All the way to the bank!!
