  • M80 versus 205

In years past I've used M80 Speed Glaze with a DA and W8006 and W9006 pads. Due to health issues I've not been able to detail my cars in the past year but I'm now back and anxious to detail my new Mazda 3. Still have plenty of M80 but I've read all the great comments concerning 205 and wondering if I'm missing something. Sooo, am I? What's the difference in application and looks of M80 versus 205?
    Thanks,

Never mind. Just spent the last hour reading old posts. Sounds like 205 is easier to work with and will provide similar results as M80. Anxious to try 205 but guess I'll use what I've got.

      Thanks,
      Same aggressiveness, slighty different abrasives.
However M205 is slightly glossier and it's a perfect follow up after M105 Ultra Cut Compound.

I still use #80, and like it. First thing that comes to mind is that #205 seems to do a better job on removing holograms from compounding.

I think they are about equal on gloss
