Well, only in so much as they're both mist & wipe quick detailer type products. But then that very basic description can also be applied to UQD, M135, Last Touch, and any competitor brand mist & wipe product.

But M34 is most definitely not the same product as Quik Detailer in the burgundy bottle. M34 is the ONLY mist & wipe quick detail spray in our lineup that is body shop safe. In such an environment it's the only such product you should be using. For enthusiast or professional detailer use, any of them are fine and should be chose based on criteria that are important to you: price, gloss, availability, whether used as a clay lube, etc.

I love Last Touch for cleaning up a car after I'm all done, it adds a subtle gloss and the ability to use it for claying is great. Many people on MOL use it as a quick detailer diluted at 1:1 as well and say it works as well as full strength. You can really get a ton of mileage out of a gallon of Last Touch, whereas Final Inspection is considerably more expensive.

They arent identical, but same way of using it, same jobs.

The M34 is body shop safe, while QD is not. But unless you are painting, that is fairly irrelevant.

I have not used FI yet, but i am very happy with LT.
Can`t see any reason to swap, other than what Chost is saying, I suppose FI would be a more suitable product for wipedown

I use Final inspection as a wipe down after polishing.

I used to use FI, however, when I did the calculation on the cost, Last Touch was a lot better because you can dilute it for claying. Plus, FI costs more per ounce compare to Last Touch.

You can tell the difference when a person used Final Inspection, rather than Last Touch. FI usually leaves a natural finish to your paint, while LT adds a boost of gloss.

That's a good way of looking at it... and the responses quoted below only reinforce that thinking.
