Does MPPC stain trim? How does MPPC compare to ColorX in terms of chemical cleaning strength and abrasiveness?

    Thanks!

I have never used Color X, but it sounds interesting. IMHO MPPC, when used with a PC, is one step below DACP in aggressiveness. It is more aggressive than any of the other Meguairs cleaner/polishes I have used, like #9, #82, Scratch X, and Body Scrub.

I would mask off any trim. MPPC is a mostly chemical cleaner. It probably wouldn't do anything good to trim.

MPPC does have a strong solvent odor to it, but it has enough diminishing abrasives in it to work better than Scratch X at removing swirls by hand, plus it can be used by machine too.

It does a pretty good job on tar so that could be attributed to the chemical cleaners in it. Clay still works better though for removing tar.
