I use both and for different purposes. New to Last Touch, so I voted that way because I love it so far. Very universal and great as a clay lube when diluted...

My understanding is that #135 and UQD or essentially the same thing..135 being a Professional product and UQD from the Consumer line. Is it also correct that both are designed to work best on polymer sealants and do not work as well on a waxed surface? On a waxed surface, #34 might be a better choice?

i use UQD for drying, dusting, cleaning any fresh contaminants (bird droppings, etc..)..but if i just got done detailing my car and its time to go out and enjoy the rest of the night, i hit it up with Last Touch all around the car...UQD is amazing while the car is still wet, mist some onto the paint and you watch the water seperate instantly !! it helps so much with drying the car. But last touch leaves a gloss like no other

I use 70/30 Last Touch/Water for almost everything (QDing, claying, quick dusting, wipe down wheels). My UQD hardly gets any use.

I like #135. It leaves the surface nice and slick. Just my .02.

IMHO #135 is better than UQD. It seems a lot slicker to me and it is easier to use on warm surfaces. Yes, Last Touch is good, but #135 is even better.
I have less dust buildup with the #135 and I like its hydrophobic properties.
If you don't clay that often you can always pick up a bottle of the inexpensive Quik Detailer in the maroon bottle.

IMO I like Last Touch for instant gratification.
My god, my original red hood that I haven't touched in over a year. I put it back on the car, used some UQD to dust it off. It looked a bit faded and needed some TLC.
So I sprayed some undiluted LT, and WOW. The Gloss came back to life! I wish I would have took some pictures before and after. But I didn't realize the difference would be so dramatic.
However, I also find that UQD looks better the next day (or I think it does)
But for car shows or going out, Last Touch gets my vote for instant glossiness.
Edit: Gee... Didn't realize this thread was so old. My bad! lol

I feel the same way about ONR. If i find myself debating over whether or not to use ONR i'll usually do a real wash. I'm not that comfortable with it yet and it's always better to be safe than sorry.
Once you get all that QD used up you might want to consider a gallon of LT. I think i'm gonna bite the bullet next time and order the 5 gallon. Ordering the 1gal every month is getting old.

Thanks Black, that helps me a bit. This is why I asked:
Since I do not have access to a hose to do a thorough washing all the time, I do the following between thorough washes: Take car through a touchless wash with blow dry. I then take clean MF towels and use Quick Detailer to fully clean the car of all debris that was not removed in the touchless. I have a lot of regular QD left, and I want to use this up first before buying a different product.
I have ONR, but have mixed opinions about it on a moderately dirty car. I feel "safer" using the method above.

It depends and differs from person to person. I use it undiluted for most quick detailing where i need that lubricity. But i do have a bottle that's cut with distilled water that's used for quick clean ups while cleaning and polishing. That bottle is about 25% distilled water and 75% LT. And of course 50/50 for claying.
My main reason for cutting it is to make it last longer. I use LT more than anything else.

So, you only dilute Last Touch if you're claying, and full strength for detailing?
