Have had good success with #83/#82/#81/2xNXT/NXT booster on my CC Red.
Everyone here has been raving about #80 so I decided to give it a try.
I buffed a 3 x 3 area with a 8006 on PC @ 5.0 for several passes, but not to the point of being dry.
Low humidity at night with temp around 62.
I removed with MF as soon as I was done buffing the section. Most came off easily, but when I went back over it to remove the last spots thin lines of hard caked material started showing up out of nowhere. Whichever way I moved the MF the lines would start to form in that direction. Even when I wiped an area that appeared to be clean, more lines would form. Switched to new MF--no improvement. I got out the QD to remove the stuff and it wouldn't get rid of it. I then re-buffed with more #80 and this helped a little, but the thin lines of stuff (they almost looked like scratches-OMG) were still forming when I tried to remove with MF. After the third buffing, I decided to quit as any more attempts might start to cause damage. I got out the #81 and went over the area with three different applications. I got it so oilly that it finally all came off and looked great.
What am I doing wrong?
