Hey Z Man, that was mighty nice of you. I wonder if they still do that "Pimp my Ride" show, that car would be a contender. I have a half gallon of 151 thanks to a good friend, I just need the chance to use it. It rains every other day here and nobody wants a detail untill the weather breaks. It's sure breaking me!

Unfortunately overall condition of the car is such that I am practically confident you would pass on it. For example, paint on hood has not swirls but fine cracks in it (all over and dense, like a dry soil does), body panels have holes from emblems missing, etc. "Extreme makeover" I had in mind when looking at it was just me going over it with a machine for him as I am sure difference from just taking that oxidation off would be extreme.

Last night after posting this I remembered I should still have somewhere one of those small "buffers" many car parts stores sell that I purchased and stopped using many years ago. I managed to find it but it was too late to try it without upsetting neighbors to see does it still work and would it be strong enough to at least help him with cleaning. If it turns out good enough to make a difference I will give it to him to help him out by at least making it easier than hand rubbing.

Oh yes, it does! Trust me, thought has crossed my mind more than once. Unfortunately, right now I am not in position to do it (starting with fact I don't have a garage / place to work in).

Looks like his car was already repainted.

It was very nice of you to offer him a bottle of D151. I've given a few samples away myself.

That car looks like a candidate for a Meg's Extreme Makeover project! Very nice of you to give the guy the product to take care of it.

I keep seeing him around for years now. He seems to be a nice guy deep inside, always talks about his kids with obvious love. It is obvious that car means something to him so I figured this would be a good thing to do. I already gave him two bottles of DC Polish that Mikes gratiously gave me the other day and some of Costco microfibers from my stock.
