is the d-10219 carpet cleaner the same thing as the new 2008 quick out carpet and upholstry cleaner?

No it is not. Meguiar's D-10219 is a foam aerosol whereas Quik Out is a liquid spray and they are 2 different formulas.
Check out this detail I did where I used the D-10219
Hey Everyone, Everyone loves to look at an extreme make-over detail. It is awesome to see a vehicle come back to life. And with the right equipment and the superior products, it can be done! So while I normally try and stick to special interest vehicles, sometimes when a challenge comes up, I just can not let it go.

It's in there - look under the Professional Detailer Brand section and it should be under Speciality items.
I just got a can of it from ADS, but I haven't used it. In the past, Quik Out has always done an excellent job on some tough stains.Chris
