I like the old time, retro label.

I also like the old school look. You say it is comparable to M40. Great product. Will have to give this a whirl soon.

how does this compare to m40? What does it smell like?

Following up . The scent is an Orange fragrance which is quite nice IMO.

This product is actually similar to M40 Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner, similar cleaning ability, similar finish. I'll will have to get back to you on the scent!
