Since this is more of a rolling change to an existing product rather than a new product intro, you may find that retailers with an inventory of the previous version are going to run through that first. That version may or may not be heavily discounted first - that's up to the retailer.

But it will start shipping very early in 2011 so look for it sometime in Q1.

No A12 Cleaner/Wax as it was replaced by the sample UQW. There is still a microfiber and Quik Detailer.

As far i can see, it will be the same package as the regular Clay Kit, i mean, the quick datailer, sample of cleaner wax and microfiber towel... i guess it's just an addition of clay.

This is a great improvement. I use to buy Mother's NEW California Gold Clay Kit because it had more clay. However, in my perspective, the clay that Meguiar's include in their kits are superior to those in Mothers.

Now, it's 60% more clay, WOW! I will be waiting for these kits on my WalMart shelves. I have ~270g of clay left on my inventory, that's about seven (7) sessions on my part. I clay my car about twice a year, so a good three (3) years will be covered. Still, it's not bad to additional clay kits, just in case. LOL.

so what is it a 6oz spray bottle for UQW, i dont get while you would put UQW in here since UQW isnt a stand alone wax. at least cleaner wax could have been used as a stand alone wax.

UQW was not created as a stand alone but lasts 2 to 3 weeks from my experience. It also seems that most consumers are looking for thr quickest and easiest method to wax their car. UQW certainly provides an expedient method of waxing a car. 6 ounces will also last several applications to a mid-size car. I like the improvement.

Plus, I can just buy this instead of a 200 gram bar for $24.95 at ADS. This is 160 grams with UQW and a towel for $20.00. Fantastic deal.

It is very likely that what you're seeing is a non finalized graphic of the new packaging. Many of these new product images were finalized just recently - some still aren't 100% approved at this point even - so expect some slight changes to some of the packages before they arrive in stores.

The clay itself is identical, there's just more of it.

The current clay is fine, doesnt leave nasty residue cleans well.. wont instill swirls unless being used on soft paint.. really great claybar for consumers..I wish this is even better
