How much UV protection does this offer? As much as 303?

On the interior I find it to be a high gloss but definately not greasy. For those wanting a high gloss...go for it. Others may prefer QID for a more natural look.

Much will depend on the texture of your interior dash and trim. For me it left a semi gloss, but not overly so. You could buff with a MF if you need a more satin finish I guess. NO GREASY residue what so ever. That is the beauty of UP is that it dries quickly and leaves no residue. Just long lasting UV protection.

One of the best new products Meguiar's has come out with in a long time. Give credit where credit is due; Great Job Meguiar's!!

I bought Ultimate Protectant last week, tried it on all of my interior panels (dashboard and doors), my splash guard and under the windshield (don't know the name). They looked darker and wet, with shine almost like supreme shine interior detailer.. All application used APC 10:1 for cleaning the interior panels and splash guard..

I tried to washed it once, yes it looked a bit changed but a wipe with a MF works good..

I tried it on my friend's dashboard and yes, she liked it..

Me too..I love the look when first applied...a rich, satin look. That's what I generally shoot for on all my black plastics and such.

UP is performing brilliantly for me so far.

I really liked the look when I first applied it and it was also non-greasy.

After two washes and one rainstorm, my trim still looks dark and feels slick but non-greasy. I think it's still got another few washes/storms left in it yet! Nice product Meguiars!

    Hi Bill -

Totally agree on Edurance..that stuff is just as good as it gets. I'm to the point where I don't even think about tire care anymore...been using that product for years...although, as you mentioned...it doesn't get much attention, so I'm always afraid that one day it's just going to disappear from the shelves! It's not as easy to find as it was years ago. I don't know where it ranks in terms of sales for Meguiars.

As mentioned previously, I found UP to lack durability on my new trim. It reminded me of using that vintage armor all water based spray. I did use it on my moms neglected black trim and it seemed to perform better and last a bit longer. Just not a good product for my use.

For sure, UQW is one of my favorite products ever...it works fantastic on just about everything except the tires.

I'm going to stick with UQW for ease of use and results as well for the trim and other plastic pieces.

I have a 2010 Mustang. I didn't clean the trim initially because nothing was ever applied to it - just gave it washing and applied. I've noticed that it seems to work better on highly neglected surfaces, rather than something that might be considered "brand new".

It might work well on the interior..but I don't apply things to the interior for most part..but I've tried it on the exterior black plastic trim and it just disappears after a day.

Maybe some of us got a bad batch - I'm not sure. I got it when it first came out. As it stands I highly doubt I'll ever get it again - The Ultimate Quik Wax does a much better job on the exterior trim for me.
