I have a 1997 Malibu Sunsetter ski boat that is white with a teal and purple accent stripe. It has a little bit of ovidation and collected some hailine scratches and swirl marks over the years. I am thinking about the following process above the rubrail to start and what to get some feedback.
Step 1: Wash
Step 2: A light wetsand with 1500 grit and then onto 2000 grit.
Step 3: Meguiars 44 Color Restorer
Step 4: Meguiars 45 Polish
Step 5: Flagship Marine wax by hand.
Can anyone suggest some pads for the #44 and #45 since I am a newbie at this?
Can I go from 2000 grit to Meguiars #44 or do I need to use a compound also?
