  • Detailed my Wife's car today (Black 2004 Corolla)

Well, armed with my big box of Meguiar's products, I dove into detailing my Wife's Black 2004 Corolla.

    - Hot Rims All-Wheel Cleaner
    - Washed (2-bucket) with NXT Car Wash
    - Scratch-X, then
    - Color-X, then
    - NXT Tech Wax

    - Exterior Trim Detailer on all black rubber pieces
    - NXT Insane Shine on the tires
    - Quik Interior Detailer on all interior surfaces

This is the first all-out detail I've done since starting at Meguiar's and I must say it's much better than shelling out $200 to the car wash.

I really need to get a G100A... I feel like my arms are about to fall off. I really did get to put the Scratch-X though it's paces. I always used it before, but was so cheap with the product, I don't think I was ever really using enough to let it do it's job.

I would have really liked to crash the Prius clinic yesterday at HQ (same paint as the Corolla) but had some family commitments as usual. 8-)

Any way, here's the pix... any tips would be appreciated.

Looks really good, you just forgot to detail the plastic cowl at the base of the windshield though

            Nice work, especially by hand!

Just to note, I've never met anyone that has regretted moving up to machine polishing with a dual action polisher.
