  • 2006 Gxp...

    Hello all,
I just received my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP yesterday. I have been wanting one for quite some time, and am really impressed. I had to do a few touch ups from the dealer, but everything looks great. Definitely nothing but Meguiar's will touch this car!!!

    Hi Ace

Thats a great looking car you have there, unfortunately cant get the GP in the UK (well not officially)

Love the Chrome Alloys as well, not too bling

    Have fun and enjoy it.

BEAUTIFUL! I don't think I've seen a black GP GXP before... that color really compliments the car.

Whoever said GM couldn't come up with nice looking designs was out of their mind.

Congrats on the GXP. I don't get to see many. Either they are in limited production, or they sell immediately when they get to the car dealer! Does it have the V8? I know at some point in time they went to a V8 and made the supercharged 3.8L V6 standard in the GT. Both are great engines.

Get a body duster, and some Speed Detailer. Use them every day (when it's not raining) and you will minimize the dust and dirt buildup. This will do more than anything else in preventing swirls and scratches.

Did you have to remove any rail dust from the GXP?

Yes, it has the 5.3L V8, aluminum...it is actually lighter than the supercharged V6! I didn't really have any rail marks or anything. I have a California Duster that I use all the time (the Meguiar's Duster I ordered 5 months ago still hasn't arrived) and final inspection as well.
The more I drive the car the more I like it
