  • Cleaned the Truck

    I recently purchased a (used) 2005 Black Dakota Quad-Cab.

I don't know what the previous owner had done, but there were swirl marks all over the place!!

Anyway, after much looking around I decided to use the Deep Crystal System. I am very impressed with the results, all the swirls are gone and all that is left are some deeper scratches. I figure I can use ScratchX to get them out.

Anyway, the paint is very glossy and slick to the touch. I figure I won't have to go thorugh all that again for at least a couple of months. Some good washing and waxing should keep it good, no?

The Deep Crystal System on its own can produce fantastic results. Giving scratchX a wirl when you have the time should help with those tough spots as well.

The only thing to consider adding is the Quick Clay system before you clean the paint next time. It can improve reults even more.

Washing technique will determine how long it will take before you go through the process again. If you don't already have one, invest in a grit guard for you wash bucket(s). You may want to pick up a couple of new mitts and some water magnet towels as well.
