You know, Second Place isn't something to sneeze at, few cars can claim that trophy. Next time at a car show, alays ask for a copy of your score sheet. Some shows will let you see it right away but usually they ask you to send a SASE to them and they send it to you. Learn from the sheet, see what they deducted points for and correct the problem.
I'm assuming this was a detailing show? If so I 'm willing to bet that you and the First Place car were very close and the judges then looked closer at the two cars in order to determine a winner. Just a spot of something or a drip of oil under the engine and you loose points. I don't see any engine pics but I wouldn't be surprised that is where you lost a point or two.LeoComment
