  • Ford rejuvinated

Ok heres the deal, I was doing this as a favour for one of the Scottish mags up here, to educate the non autopian people we have up here. This was a meguiars sponsored event.

It had not been cleaned for a long time and im told it had NEVER been waxed, and as most of you will no, in Scotland this is not a good idea. :nono

So here goes, I basically used the following

-The whole car got 2/3 passes of either one of these, althought I found ssr2.5 to deal with the swirls the best. 1Z for the deep scratches. All used on a meguiars cutting pad.
DACP, 1Z IP and SSR2.5 to remove the majority of scratches etc.
#80 as the condition was a little rough after the intensive polishing.

-I glazed with #7 and VM just to see a difference, VM is much easier to use. #7 was easy enough to remove once I got the hang of it.

-Layer of NXT tech wax and finally topped with #16.

I feel this is a good combo for a dark colour when using only meguiars.

This was supposed to be a meguiars thing and they kindly gave us some of the polish to do it.

    First up are the befores.
