  • Ford XR6 Detailed

The Aussie crew on Meg's Online will know these cars instantly.
This is my Dad's 2004 Ford Falcon BA XR6, it's a daily driver, garaged nightly but parked outdoors and under trees at shopping centers and the city for the past 8 years. Heaps of neglect and only two washes this year.

It's not perfect, and all the machine work was done with a cheaper dual action polisher + orange pad. On close inspection, many light scratches and swirls were removed but some scratches still remain. They're only surface, not fingernail deep and will have to be tackled with a tougher pad to be removed more thoroughly. From a small distance the car looks immaculate and very shiny. I dont have too many before photos but a few shots showing some noticeable difference:

    Products/Procedure:

Hand wash with Amorall Wash and microfiber sponge + Repco Wheel cleaner for the alloys
Hand dry with jumbo microfiber towel
Meguiar's Clay Bar + Quik Detailer
    Ultimate Compound
Hand Wash with Mother's Carnauba Wash+Wax
    Hand Dry

Clay bar, this was just the boot
