  • Dirty Car? Rinse Free Wash to the rescue!

This is a new customer that just loves how Meguiar's and me made his Mustang look. So much so that he now want's his car washed weekly instead of every two weeks.

It's been about ten days and 900 miles since I detailed his car.
It got kinda dirty due to him leaving it outside and overnight while he was at a sleep over.

So in this situation Waterless washing is great
This is a freshly detailed car and doesn't need 30-40 gallons of water to wash off the little bit of dirt on it.

I've been doing WW for years now and for those of you who are "afraid" of it you need to understand that's it's all about technique.

My mentor and one of the testers of D115 calls Waterless Washing "Precision Washing".
Your not flooding the surface with gallons and gallons of water and soap so your mindset needs to change about how to wash a car when using a waterless wash

Also with Waterless Wash you can wash a car anywhere. So right in the carport this will be washed.

Yummy! This is what my dreams are made of, dirty car that's is in NEED of me, Super Wario.

Some close ups of the filth!

Now do you notice how the Dew drops dried up? the dew and dirt dried up into a ball shape. This is the results of a properly cared for car. The Hydrophobic properties causes the water to stay close together and dry in round spots as apposed to misshapen "blobs" that you'll see on most cars out there.

Here I'm showing you the hood vents. This is a "crack" that some people don't believe a waterless wash can clean properly. You'll see this isn't true in the after pics.

This pic is right after one wipe. You can see it's not "clean", you have to buff it with another micro fiber towel to a brilliant shine

All the dirt is gone! The little spots are deep paint defects that arn't seen by the naked eye. My Camera Rocks! HDR FTW!

No problem with cleaning the cracks if you know what your doing

That looks great! Washed, dried and protected in a few minutes.

Here's a good 70/30 shot of the the dirt and the wonders of waterless wash.

A little closer for you naysayers

In this pic you can see the dirt, the first wipe and the buffed side.

"The Blue Stuff" is what I know D115 as. Many times this is all I get to see of a new Meg's product. Then it just sticks with me.

    ... and sun shots FTW.

This is what the naked eye sees, just a beautiful reflection.

    My favorite shot

I'm one of the sceptics. I'm too afraid to use it and probably always will be.

That's all good. But it's a great product for the right situation.
I still love getting "wet and wild" too.
Also Rinseless Washing is something WW skeptics can wrap their head around easier then WW.
RW is good when you have water restrictions or want to wash a little faster then WW.

It's probably safe to say that most people are skeptical when they first hear about waterless washes. Heck, I was even skeptical about rinseless washes until I tried it several years ago. Even then, the idea of a waterless wash didn't sit well with me. But then something interesting happened: we introduced Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere a couple of years ago at SEMA, as we do with all of our new consumer products. I had driven my weekend toy to Las Vegas with the thought that after working the trade show all week I would treat myself to a top down drive across the desert, all 275 miles of it from Vegas to my house. Except it rained the whole time, and it almost never rains here. With the 15 freeway being a major truck route, and no rain for months, you can imagine how much grime was laid down on that road and how much of it ended up on my car. A car which, by the way, never sees rain and is kept at an extremely high level. OK, so it was filthy when I got home. The next day I decided this was the perfect test for UWWA so I dove right in. I used 6 towels on this two seat convertible (cloth top) which should tell you something about towel management and the small surface area of the car. When I was done it looked fantastic and not a mark on it. I was blown away and can honestly say that is the exact moment in time that I fell in love with the concept of waterless washing.

            Thanks for sharing this Mario!

That's a little too dirty for my taste but I'm happy to know that D115 can handle it with no issues!

How many towels did you use for this Stang? Also, how long did it take you? Did you use the Michael Stoops Waterless Wash Method? LOL!

                  Nice work Mario.
I use waterless on recently done cars.
But if i am seeing a car for the first time I just can't replace the dang hose.
