  • BBR, Big Black Ram, Dodge, 2006

Here we have a Big Black Ram in need of some love.
This customer is used to Ferrari's and Porsche's, but he really loves his truck.
He had to drive down some dirt roads for a job and dirtied up his BBR.

This was a basic Wash-N-Wax with interior detail.
The paint needed some paint defect removal but the customer just wanted it cleaned up and beautiful again.
So Meguiar's M66 Quick Detailer was the choice for this job.

Washed, Nano Skinned, Meg's Soft Buff Pad on my G110 did the job on the paint, chrome and headlights.
Meg's D156 X-press Wax on the glass and rims for protection and a great shine.
Meg's Tire & Trim Dressing for the trim also Meg's Trim Spray for the grill and lower lights.

The interior was Valuer? and dirty.
With a Valuer interior I've found the "Pet Rock" really cleans up the fibers and removes all the lint and dirt really well.
Vac, rock, brush and Vac again was the order of cleaning the Valuer up nicely.

Cool pinstriping. You just don't see pin striping anymore.

TONNEAU COVER! Here's a fifty square feet of work.

Poor design here. You have to hold all your keys in your hand to not scratch the paint. But your going to scratch it as we can see here.

Don't forget to get under the cover

His trailer came loose and did some damage. Surprisingly a little damage. I expected a lot more then a few scratches and the emblem was just knocked off.

This is the reason why I carry 3m double sided tape. A few strips and this was back on. I wanted to properly glue it with silicone
but the customer was going to get this all repainted so a "quick fix" is all that was needed.

Valuer love to hold on to dirt!

Some concrete dust from a "Frog" statue

Man I hate a dirty engine! lol, OCD baby!

This is kinda weired. The whole front doesn't have any beauty coverings. It just looks "unfinished"

Rims need some polishing but time just ran out

Here's the "Pet Rock" in action.

    Left side cleaned
    Right side dirty

    All cleaned up

Driver seat. Valuer really holds on to lint

    My tools, vac, brush, rock

A few scapes and it brings out all the "fuzz"

The finished product. The paint defects are still there but I looks good! This is what a good wax will do to your truck. My customer loved it.

Tonneau cover needs some more polish but it's shinny

Seats all cleaned and 3m Scotch Guard

A basic engine cleaning with APC+, Power Washer and Hyper Dressing.

    Thanks for looking!

Nice Job Mario. I'll have to look into that pet rock and I think I need to get a pet brush too for the hairs.

        "The rock, ROCKS!"
It's the main reason I did this write up. These seats and a Silverado use this Valuer and it's hard to clean without the rock.
Basically it's a pumice stone type of rock.
Some detailers even use a "grill brick" a big black brick used to clean flat industrial griddles. Available at Smart and Final.
But "Pet Rocks" are available from detailer supply houses.

We actually sell grill bricks at work. So I know what those are. I'll have to search for the rock though. See if anyone around town has them.
