  • Ford F150, should be Filthy 150!!! Caution: This might make you sick, jk

So I guess this beautiful tuck just sits under a tree and a nasty tree it is!

Washed, Nano Skin on my G100. Meg's White Wax on a Meg's Soft Buff Yellow Pad
    Rims, Wheel Brightener.
    Glass, D156 Express Wax
    Trim, M38 and trim spray

And the culprit! Don't ever park under one of these trees!

It was about 95 degrees that day. Here I have a 12'x12' Quick Shade. They are kinda flimsy but do the job when you have a huge truck. Also my 3 step ladder and 10'x10' Easy up for my comfort at the bakc of my van/work area

it was so hot I used my customer water to cool down the area. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING THIS. It made the hot day a lot more tolerable.

after washing only, I needed power to remove this crud

The right side was Nano skinned, the left you can still see the filth in the paint.

TA-DA!!! All clean, shiny and protected. and it's white again!

This shot shows the defects still left in the paint but I was only hired to Wash-N-Wax but at least it's white again and not brown

That's a great job. The truck looks way better now. How long have you had your Nano Skin and do you know how long it last?

Very nice job once again Mario!!! That was just gross but you brought it back to life.

I'm not even sure if I would dare touch that lol.

Did you exceed the xustomer's expectations?

        Thank you very much!
I bought it last year. They last about 50 uses. You can tell it doesn't work by it grabbing the paint and not "acting" right. They are awesome!
Can you imagine claying this by hand? Not me. I was and Nano at the same time, saves me hours of work and my arm.

I love these kinds of jobs!
They make for a great post.
With a Nano Skin on your DA you can tackle any filth on any paint
I got a nice tip so yes I exceded his expectations.

Another thing, is yours the fine grade or medium grade? Can you feel the difference? Which one would you prefer?

I got mine from my local shop Detailing.com but you can get them anywhere.
                I have the fine grade.
I like the fine over the medium. It's already an aggressive tool so I went with the least aggressive.

LOL!!! Only a wash and wax? On this truck, that's still a lot of work - what a mess!

                      That thing was horrid!

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Funny thing was - in the "before" pix, the RIMS were the CLEANEST part of the truck!! Man that Ford needed a flea dip and an acid bath! You're a brave soul for tackling that one!

The rims were one of his biggesconcernsns, go figure.
I didn't get good pics of them but they were very trashed, needed two treatments of acid, hand washing and detailing to. But I don't post to much about rims. I'm more of a paint guy and not a "rim detailer"

Nice write up Mario, that was some mess of a truck. I see a lot more of that type of stuff up here in the PNW, and all the trees and rain we get up here, but that much on that big of a truck is a lot of work. And I'm with Mike, Only a wash and wax? I love the satisfaction of this job being able to take something nasty and turn it into something way better, but that work is truly impressive.

I took your recommendation a few months ago and switched over the Speedy Prep towels and I feel like my life (and especially my hands) have gotten so much better, maybe I'll need to give the Nano Skin a shot too for those really nasty cars and overspray.
