  • Dull haze on brite trim

Today I detailed my mother-in-law's 1995 Buick Century. It had been waxed only two or three times since it was new and had not been washed in over six months. I was able to get the paint reconditioned a lot better than I had hoped. However, it has a dull haze on the brite metal trim around the windows. I tried some Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner ( the only thing I had that I though might help). It improved the appearance a little but did not take off much of the haze. I would like to know what you think could be used to restore the brite trim on this car. Below are a couple of pictures of the paint restoration.

If it's worth doing; it worth doing right.
I Corinthians 10:31 "Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."

    Very nice job capitolason2.

Not sure what to tell you about shining up the trim, except to try a metal polish.

Very good reflection in the paint.
