  • Mama's '07 TBSS gets attention

Today I washed, clay barred and waxed my wife's '07 TBSS. It is her daily driver and was well in need of a good thorough scrubbing. I started with a two bucket with Grit Gard wash using Gold Class Car Shampoo. After wash and dry I did the baggie test and she failed miserably; think sandpaper. I clayed glass, paint and wheels using DP Rinseless Wash and Gloss @ clay lube ratio. I sealed the glass using Adam's Glass Sealant then waxed her using Gold Class Carnauba Plus Paste Wax. Plastic trim, wheel wells and tires were treated to Hyper Dressing at two to one ratio. Wheels were finished with Hot Rims Brake Dust Barrier.

Clay bar from one quarter of just the roof:

Finished product. Silver does not reflect well in a bright light environment:

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

      Take the dealer badge off.
Drop it on the floor so the sticky side gets covered in grit, certainly can't put the badge back on the car now.
The wife will get over it in the end, plus explain that it's free advertising and no one advertises for free these days.
