2004 Ford F-250 FX4, a whole lot of mess for its own thread.

Client wanted a complete detail of the interior plus a wash/decon/sealant on the exterior.

There was a whole lot of industrial fallout on the tailgate & bedsides.

Plus the interior is trashed and on top of that the seats are always a PITA on these trucks.

I had to get this truck done in 7-8 hrs as well.

I tried to start pressure washing at 9pm when the client dropped off the truck but I could not see what I was doing so had to stop.

    A few befores:

    Interior.

    Vac/dry brush/vac - 1hr.
All capret & upholstery shampooed with 3D Carpet Shampoo.
All interior surfaces cleaned with All Purpose Cleaner & hot water.
All interior surfaces dressed with Quik Interior Detailer.
Glass cleaned with Glass Cleaner Concentrate 10:1.
    Jambs cleaned with ONR.

I removed the rear seats & presoaked them with APC, scrubbed them with 3D Carpet Shampoo, then pressure wash rinsed & left in the sun to dry.

    Afters:

It was noon by the time the interior got done & with 3.5 hrs left I turned my attention to the exterior.

I needed something to chop all the fallout out quick, It was taking about ten minutes just to get a small corner of the tailgate done.

I decided to pull out the red aggressive clay , I tested a spot & that helped dramatically but it still took forever.

I decided to soak the tailage & part of the besides with a can of Tarminator, while I detailed the wheels, tires, & wells.

I then came back and got most of it off with red clay & ONR. The remainder was polished away with liberal amounts of well worked in applications of M66 via PCXP & a green LC 5.5" pad.

    Exterior process:

Foamed & washed with NXT Generation Car Wash.
Clay with blue/red clay & ONR.
Industrial fallout & tar removed with Tarminator.
    Polish/wax using #66 - Quick Detailer (Cleaner/Wax) via PCXP.
Wheels polished with steel wool & All Metal Polish.
    Tires/fenderwells/trim dressed with Hyper-Dressing 2:1.

The paint looked so much whiter afterwards, sorry for no really good befores but time was the enemy.

What a mess you had there Nick, but in the end you really made it shine. I can't imagine the results if you had a couple of days with the beast. Great work!

Wow it was trashed but you are the man for the job inside and out side looks awesome, tarminator looks to be a great product do you think body solvent would have touched the fall out on the tail gate? as allways nick great turn around.

Such a big truck to do in so little time. You did an awesome job.
I hate to do those white cars/trucks with a lot of fallout. It always take forever to get it all done.

                Thanks.

Not sure what else I would do to it with more time.
                Clean the engine maybe???

Its a work truck, has a couple rust spots, so its not worthy of any defect removal.

                Thank you.

The only thing I removed from the interior was the rear seats as they were hammered with gunk & grime.

Its not difficult at all really. All you have to do is unhinge the rear seats by hand.

                Thanks Scott.

Tarminator seems to be stronger than Body Solvent.

The body solvent may have worked but it would have taken longer I think.

If those seats are similar to the 04+ f150 cloth seats they stain just by putting a wet hand on them. I've had good luck with stoners carpet cleaner on them to remove light stains. Works good on the headliner too!

                    Your a beast dude!!

You really like that #66. You get great results with it. Have you used D151 before? How does 66 compare? I am looking for a polish to replace my current one step product.

                    Thanks Nick! Your the man!

They are the same I believe.

I like the cloth seats GM uses since they are a blessing to clean.

I cleaned the healiner up with a dampened APC cloth followed by a hot water cloth, making sure not to get it too wet.

The owner smokes so I pulled a lot of black filmy tar out.

I have used gallons and gallons of M66 and will never trade it for anything.

I have used D151 twice and I hated it.

Hard to handle, get out of the bottle, apply/remove, the smell.

While the D151 may cut better I would never use it over M66.

M66 is one of those old classics that is still good.
